It is not enough for us to know the right thing to do - we must have the will to do it. Our logic thinking brain says we must exercise and eat healthy foods to maintain good health and to be successful with the opposite sex. Yet our emotions control our brain and over-power our decision-making processes and we will do what our feelings tell us to do - usually with negative consequences to our health and well-being.
But why are our feelings and emotions so strongly able to dominate our actions when we know so clearly that these negatives we do in our lives are obviously harming us? The answer is that our brains are wired to be emotionally in control of our logical brains. The logic circuits are wired to be slaves to our emotion decision-making. Ok, if this is true - which it is - then how can we take control of our emotions to do what is right for our health and happiness?
The answer to this lies in our hormonal levels. Most of us now have less testosterone in our systems than men of 78-80 years ago. We can look to the highly processed and artificially made foods, the growth hormones fed to the animal meat we eat and to the pollutants in our air and water, together with the cars and machines we have in our lives that save us from manual work.
Ok, so with our emotional brains in control, and or hormone levels at low or below normal, we have none of the motivation to do the right thing by our body and health. It is all too easy to rest on the sofa rather than talk a healthy one hour walk after dinner, simply because we don't have the hormones in our system to motive us to the right emotional decision.
And the less testosterone we have to drive us to do the right things, it all becomes a self-destructive cycle of neglect, which leads to even lower levels of testosterone. The only answer that is safe and non-toxic is to boost our testosterone production back to normal levels with diet supplements much as you take vitamins today as part of your routine.
