All of us deserve a healthy life. Most of us find it hard to remain healthy and fit. The main problem lies in our diet habits and living style. Either we take improper diet or do inadequate activities to keep fit. Most of us will agree that many times while going to sleep, we swear that we'll go to the gym next morning but that morning never comes. We just change our mind eight hours later saying we don't feel like exercise.
This does not mean that we should leave this idea all together when it comes to staying fit. There is need to realize that staying active and proper eating habits are critical for long term health and fitness. Remember the old saying; one ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. We are to introspect ourselves to know how our body respond to our life style, the better we can customize a nutrition and exercise plan that is right for us. When we increase our physical activity, take nutritious diet, and exercise at proper intensity, our body gets the information that we want to burn a substantial amount of calories. This translates to efficient burning of calories for energy.
Nutritious diet habits and physical activities boost metabolism, which in turn gives more energy during the day allowing us to do more physical work with less energy. The main purpose of exercise is to send a repetitive message to the body to improve metabolism, strength and overall good healthy and fit. Every time when we exercise, our body responds by upgrading its capacity to burn calories throughout day and night. It does not mean that we are to do rigorous exercise, but there is requirement of consistency. A balanced approach incorporating aerobic exercise, resistance training and healthy diet plan paves the path towards burning more calories and delivering more oxygen to the body.
