3. It costs money to be sick and that's money that could be well-spent on other things. A simple protein powder, some frozen strawberries, a few nuts and some water or milk and you've got a healthy mix of protein, carbs and essential fats.

If the idea of eating first thing in the morning is enough of a challenge, some simple comfort food is better than nothing as long as you don't go overboard. A basic quesadilla with beans, cheese and egg (even peppers and onion if you like) is simple to make. What's even better is you can whip up a batch of 5 or 10 and individually freeze them. A cup of coffee and a microwaved quesadilla is not a bed way to start the day. Throw in a few grapes, a banana or an apple and you've got a pretty well-balanced breakfast.

Many people like cereal. It's an okay breakfast if you couple it with something more nutritious like fruit and maybe a few nuts or almond milk to give yourself a little protein.

If eggs and cereal are just not your thing, make a sandwich, have a leftover skinless chicken breast - even a slice of last night's pizza will give your body fuel. Add a peach or pair and you're headed in the right direction.

If you do have some time in the morning, get creative. Oats are a great breakfast. You can also easily make a breakfast sandwich similar to the kind you'd get at a restaurant (i.e., egg on a toast). Your's will probably be healthier and have fewer calories. This is a great way to have a satisfying meal if you're watching what you eat.

Don't Just Accept What People Tell You About Your Health

"Read The Label" - Has Never Been Easier With Modern Food Packaging

Modern food packaging is convenient, eye catching, functional and designed to not only keep the contents fresh for extended periods of time, but also to protect them from contamination. Despite the fact that the food industry is now one of the most regulated, and one would expect, the safest, there are still many examples in the media every year of accidental and, the more sinister alternative, deliberate, contamination of packaged food. The consequences for consumers can be anything from mildly irritating to a life threatening allergic reaction, particularly in cases where the substance has been ingested by a small child.
